Ingredients
-
500 g lean beef mince (5–10% fat)
-
1 Tbsp tomato paste
-
1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½–1 tsp sea salt, to taste

½ tsp black pepper
-
1 Tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley or oregano (plus extra to serve)
-
1–2 tsp olive oil (only if pan is very dry)

Brown: Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high. Add mince and break it up. Cook 4–5 minutes until no longer pink and lightly browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

Adjust texture: Add 2–3 Tbsp water/stock if it looks dry. Simmer 2–3 minutes until glossy.
-
Herbs: Turn off heat, fold through parsley or oregano. Taste and adjust salt/pepper.
-
Serve: Great with rice, stuffed in wraps, over baked potatoes, or on salad bowls.
