For most of my early adult life, I lived the cycle most of my clients arrive describing. Start a programme on Monday. Lose it by Wednesday. Restart the following week. Repeat for years.
What changed wasn't motivation. It was structure. The day I stopped trying to feel ready and started showing up to the structure regardless was the day the work began to compound.

That's the system I coach now. The one that worked when nothing else had. Not because I'm built differently to my clients, because I'm not. But because the structure was finally right.
